Hello, I'm looking to buy a camera Video for personal use – not too smart – but I would like to use computer editing and do not have a firewire port or a computer fast enough the drive. I need to know is the best technology to use will be able to transfer video to a computer as avi or mpeg (or other) via USB. observed a little hard "drive standard models, but are a bit out of our price range, and the" DVD "models with a memory Stretch MiniDV seems to recall our previous model, which promotes the expandable memory, but ends up being only still images and can you recommend a model cheaper that has this feature? And anyone can state from personal experience, how the digital transfer -? thanks heaps all know it a tough question! john cheers – What means they are only good for concerts sorry? – Josh!

If you wish to edit the video, I propose to MiniDV. HDD are only good for concerts. DVD is good if you are not edited. Sony is a very good brand. Although we have a problem with ours, we would certainly stay with Sony because the other suction.
