Is it possible that I can put a password on an external USB drive to protect its contents in case of theft?
I have an external USB drive that I keeps all my business software and backup of personal data. I use it when I go to a place of work for the restoration and troubleshooting units of other peoples. What I want is if the drive is lost or stolen, it would be password protected and when it is connected to another party. And yes, I know that password protection is not the best way to protect files. I do not want to password protect all the files individually, I just want to password protect unit. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you !!!!!!
