SimpleTech USB external hard drive?

Purchased SimpleTech 100GB external USB hard drive, I am facing the following problem: I copied all pictures (*. jpg) and video (*. dat), (*. 3gp), (*. VOB) on a hard drive – I tried to see the pictures yet copied from the hard drive, opened successfully. 2 – I tried copying CD playback video (*. dat) hard drive, opened successfully. 3 – I tried play the copy of Mobile Video (*. 3gp) from the hard drive, which has successfully opened. 4 – However, when I tried to read the copied DVD video files (*. Vob) from HDD, it could not open. When the copy (*. vob) DVD video file on the hard drive in my computer works perfectly, but who do not work for the simple TECH USB external hard drive. Are requested to inform a solution for playback of DVD video from the hard drive.

The problem is that the rate of data transfer. It should be using FireWire or internal disk.
