You can not put files on my Seagate Free Agent 250 gig external hard drive?
I bought this about 3 years and used for a while but I have not used in about two years. I do not know if that makes a difference, but today, I plugged to try to load, but do not let me put files on it. I get the following error message: Can not create or replace : Impossible find the file specified. Make sure you specify the correct path and file name. I hope I do not understand that this is no hard disk, because the garbage is old enough, but I think it is a guarantee of five years or so, I'll have to check. But please help!
It seems to me that the drivers are working well. Also the hard drive too, because if it is damaged physically as if the song-writing Touch disks within the disk drive itself, within two years is dropped or exposed to heat, etc. which are not supported. In addition to handling this is right for me it is not clear what you mean by "loaded". 1.Si the, this means that the maps and files appear all you have to do is copy the files to a safe storage and format the new disk op. 2.Try to clean a disk defragmentation. If does not work with the manufacturer to install the software you were when you bought the disc. Success
