Maxtor external hard drive needs formatting?
I had my portable hard drive for about six months. It is a model 1TB Maxtor Basics Home. I recently upgraded to Windows 7 Professional and work well for about two days. Then one day I just turned and said: "You must format the H: The power unit before use. It has all my family photos on it, so I need a solution quickly. Do I need to reinstall the drivers, and if so, where can I find them? Just to clarify, I am running Windows Professional 64-bit
