How can I make my hard drive on the second boot disk?
Ok .. I installed a second hard drive on my desktop. Is a SATA system. I connected the power cable and data cable. The first time I turned on my pc another unit was "PC". It was a letter "E". Then I said I had to reboot, what I did. After restarting, a black screen with a few words, but as I flash I can not read fast! I can see "I control the press" But it everything I can get to the start of the operating system. He acts like I added an external hard drive. What I want is to use file system operation. Advice?
There are two parts to your question. Press the Delete or F1 or Esc to open the BIOS screen, tabs there is something that the boot order. Open this file, the list will show its first boot device, second and third. To make your new drive as the startup is a startup disk. You are an operating system on the camera to use the equipment or start the old computer disk. To render the new boot disk, remove the old then install the operating system on the new disc. If you are interested in dual-boot system, a new operating system on DVD and start the installation leave the old system operating alone and add the new operating system in the new unit, the installation package is installed dual-boot system. Then the team will start to choose what operating system you want to run and the default will be the operating system above. If you want XP and Windows 7 first load Win7 then load XP. There are some third party software that is loaded first, and ends with a message for the operating system function.
