How can I see the files on a hard disk in Windows 7?

I am a new user of Windows 7 and the i in my external hard drive (iomega FW400) agreement with firewire. The team reads it and it recognizes as a disk drive. When I got to Device Manager and click the icon anything that does not show properties, but no files. PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!!

To view the files go to the computer and open your hard drive. You can not see files with the Device Manager.
