So how can I change my system to Windows 7?
Um yeah, I just asked (the opponents, who say that I asked HP free update for Vista) Windows 7 and I've never changed one operating system on my computer before. In this I want to ask how I can change all my stuff on the operating system to another ..? Currently I have Vista Home Premium 64-bit, and I 'm switching to Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (surprised). What should I do? I read many reviews saying that, leave and let the system switch all on himself, or something like that, but if you did, it took one hour and that the performance was not as good or something. So, I save everything on something as an external hard drive, and if so, how? (I have a firewire port .. .. if that helps), which is exactly what I need to save my system comes with things as things of HP media, but do not know what to keep or leave alone. I could use a little help, everyone can see you!
I did the same update 64-bit will be done. I chose the upgrade path instead of a clean install, because I many programs do not want to install. You must also choose an upgrade because they want to save programs specific to HP and all property. I had about 800 GB of programs and data to be transferred so he took a little time, but always ends at about 1 hr. 50 min. My Vista installed nearly 2 ½ hours. All my settings and programs made the change without problems and within 48 hours of use have not had a problem with any program. Even changing the position of my usual desktop icons. The process is only necessary to choose among several options for me do their work. Win7 beta version I used for a few months and made the switch to Vista, because I really liked. From now on, I disappointed. Start Windows Vista and Win7 the disc into the optical drive. It should launch and give you a window installation. Simply follow the instructions and choose to upgrade when asked. It takes very little attention to me once it started the update and ran smoothly. Backing up your data if you want, but you may not need to use it. XP users (any version) and those switching from 32-bit Vista 64-bit Win7 can do a clean install, there is no way to upgrade. They should make a backup of the data completely and reinstall all programs from scratch after installing Win7. HTH
