No response from the laptop when you are connected USB components, or the lack of recognition of the device. Is there a solution?

I am running Windows Vista SP2 on a Sony Vaio laptop. Recently I tried to install a driver for a mobile phone to the USB connection, which in some and caused the laptop to stop responding to inputs of a hard disk and an external keyboard and mouse. I tried to use the detector to find driver drivers who seem to be there, but the team sees them. Also connecting the iPod, and was unable to load. I tried a system restore, and it seems different ports, all have the same problem. Does anyone have an idea?

Try going to web site support from Sony and reinstall the drivers have been made. If this fails, try uninstalling the drivers before installing the drivers from the support website of Sony. If you have any other external hardware be websites and / install drivers for them. Does a system restore point before trying any of these cases into something worse.
