How to add an external hard drive to a HD-DVR?
I have a HD-DVR and you want to add more space for her, because she is almost complete. Thought connect an external hard drive on my computer via USB, but do not know if it's way to corrupt the DVR or just does not work? Has anyone idea / experience? Thank you?
I seek the same solution. Maybe not just related something that has been formatted for your computer and connect to your HD-DVR. The format for reading HD-DVR that can not be that your hard disk has been formatted in. For example, if you use a drive larger than 2GB, you need to format in FAT32 or NTFS for the computer to use – NTFS is not compatible with stereo player / DVDs and I'm not sure NTFS. I'm always looking for the answer, I have. EDIT luck!: After some research, I found a program that will format any size hard drive to FAT32 – see link below. You can connect any hard drive your DVD player through a connection USB safely (as far as I can tell – but is not responsible if something goes wrong), but work needs to correct format, that's all.
