My son gave me a Samsung SV1021H 10Gig USB Hard Drive that I use to store photos. I plugged in and Windows recognizes as OK. However, when I look in "My Computer" appears not. When you click on Properties "safely remove" represented in position 0, taking the volume does not show anything up Do you "fill" that says the disc 1, basic, online, MBR, the number of places allocated to reserve a 9727MB 9727MB 0MB. How do you get to use disk space, the format I .??????????? ect have tested the problem solver, but it says device is working properly and is displayed in the Device Manager section man, if I can not access it through my computer how can I format it?

Have you tried to go in Device Manager, floppy drive, select the drive and format using NTFS? it should work.
