Is it possible to convert my external hard drive from FAT32 to NTFS deletes the files it contains?
I want to play on a hard disk internally using Ghost, I can not let an alternative to my external hard drive without the hard drive is formatted NTFS. I can not afford to lose data my hard drive. While there is no chance that something goes wrong with the conversion process and you may lose all data on the disk, I need to know. I like using the method listed here>>> http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/tips/advanced/ntfs.mspx
Windows XP and Vista converter integrated with a FAT32 NTFS does not lose data. Yet it is a good idea to save your commands in case of failure current in the middle of the conversion. And of course, is a good idea to backup your data, period. But, uh, do not require a phantom blank disc? Hope that helps.
